“It’s spring fever.  That is what the name of it is.  And when you’ve got it, you want – oh, you don’t quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!”

Mark Twain

I would so much rather be outside in the 72 degrees and sunny than in the basement of Carroll. Please let this weather be here to stay!

holi moli!

So Friday was a pretty colorful day to say the least!  Here at Carolina we’re pretty big on diversity, so among the many religious and cultural festivities that take place throughout the year is Holi, the Hindu celebration of color at the beginning of spring.  Essentially, people throw vibrantly colored powder and water on one another and revel in the glory of being tie dyed from head to toe. Pink. Orange. Green.Yellow. I’m still getting purple out of my hair! If you know me at all you’ll understand why I thought it was so amazing, despite the side effects of neon-colored cuticles for several days (including the time in NYC with super professional magazine execs). Anyway, holding true to my commitment to take pictures of everything, Mr. Nikon tagged along for the ride and gained a few battle wounds himself…

P.S. Loving New York right now!
