Lindsay + Drew • Engaged

I’ve loved all the engagement shoots I’ve done, but I think this one may be my favorite! So. Many. COLORS. Lindsay and Drew wanted to spend our Saturday morning at the Carrboro Farmers Market before reenacting their engagement, a picnic at UNC’s Arboretum. I think I took almost as many pictures of fruit and flowers as I did of Lindsay and Drew. And let’s be real. These two are beautiful as individuals and even more together. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding this weekend down in Georgia!

Sierra

I loved taking these pictures. First, Sierra is such a fun gal. We interned together at Southern Weddings and are about to graduate with our J-school degrees together in May. I always love catching up with her, and, let’s face it, she’s so pretty. Second,  I had wanted to take pictures on this little quarter-mile trail since I started training for my marathon last fall. I always think it’s so pretty. Third, the light was perfect. Golden hour. Fourth, the people at Open Eye judged us and an older hipster woman pointed out my flaws in positioning Sierra with backlight. Love Carrboro. Anywho, I think they tuned out great and I’m a big fan of all the colors. Enjoy!
