the infestation.

Tonight the Glendie had its most terrifying bug encounter to date.  Kelsey opened her door and saw a rather large roach climbing on the wall of our main hallway.  Her screams alerted me and the rest of the house to the creature.  We seriously all stood around watching it crawl up the wall and onto a picture.  Gross right?

No, this is gross:

Then it FLEW off the wall.  THE ROACH TOOK FLIGHT DOWN THE HALLWAY.  A FLYING ROACH.  I don’t think I’ve ever been more scared.  The natural reaction was screaming and slamming doors closed.  Thankfully, a boy was present and came to the rescue.  Problem solved.

Now, we’re all paranoid about scary bugs getting into our beds (don’t worry, that’s already happened to Hilary) or finding enormous spiders in our showers (that happened to me, the arachnophobic one).  So, we’ve employed Kelsey’s “COMBAT Source Kill Max for Large Roaches.”

Here’s how it works:

1. Roaches enter the bait station and eat the bait.

2. Roaches take the bait back to the nest.

3. Roaches share the bait, killing other roaches and DESTROYING* the nest.

*Font enhanced for effect.

Hopefully this will do the trick because I really don’t want to have to deal with flying roaches on my walls, in my bed or near me in general.
